What is Vitamin D3 + K2?

Vitamin K refers to a group of fat-soluble vitamins, used by the body in a number of processes, including blood coagulation and bone formation.

Vitamin K comes in several forms – the main ones being K1 or K2. Vitamin K1, also known as phylloquinone, is found in leafy green vegetables. It is converted by gut bacteria into Menaquinones or Vitamin K2. The most common of these Menaquinones are MK-4 and MK-7.

Vitamin D is a group of fat-soluble vitamins responsible for intestinal absorption of calcium, magnesium and phosphate, as well as for multiple other biological functions. For humans, the most important compound in this group is vitamin D₃.

Why take a Vitamin D3 + K2 supplement?

Secondly, we have selected a unique capsule-shell that will help shield the contents from light – which could destroy its precious properties.
